THE WSC LOCAL OWNERSHIP MODEL
It is well understood that effective influence stems from a core understanding of a target audience’s attitudes, perceptions and behavior. With our team dispersed
throughout the country, we have unique access to every tribe, ethnicity and social grouping, offering an unparalleled capacity to develop winning campaigns throughout the
region.
The model of local ownership and staff allows our clients to focus on the very premise of their investment, that of supporting local economies and people
directly. Our model is not only core to achieving the targeted effect locally, but also for building capacity in areas that have notoriously under developed media and
communication structures. back to top
METHODOLOGY
The mission of Wise Strategic Communication is to attain greater results through providing holistic communication solutions and the use of unconventional and cost
efficient methods. “Effective communications must build and maintain credibility and trust with friends and foes alike, through an emphasis on consistency, veracity and
transparency both in words and deeds” 2005 Quadrennial US Defense Review
It is said that perception is truth and thus to educate an audience’s perceptions to ensure they understand your truth, is fundamental to maintaining and
building support from an audience. Strategic Communications has many definitions not least because the very scripting of terminology is in itself an exercise of influence and
therefore targeted at a specific audience. What is common amongst them all is that it encompasses all communicative methods of persuading a defined target audience in line
with strategic objectives. This process is entirely interactive and conforms to the following path

Whether this process is borne in diplomacy, public affairs, information operations, marketing or even reconstruction, what is key is that the activity
supports defined objectives and themes to guarantee credibility and consistency. The common lesson that has been identified in counter-insurgency operations is that to have
one voice is essential and that the strength of the message depends on the unity and consistency of its delivery.
Through our team of experts and practitioners, we specialize in the targeting of products. We have a unique capacity for conducting information collation,
analysis, communication strategies, command information, and measuring effect. All of this is accomplished through secure and agile methodologies ensuring we are able to
support the most sensitive campaigns. back to top
CORPORATE POLICY
As an organization we are continuing to grow strong through experience and the education of our people and our relationships with our clients. To that extent we work to
some clearly defined ethics and guidelines to ensure our continued credibility as a service provider.
Our key corporate values:
- The highest personal standards of integrity at all levels;
- Hands-on management at all levels, a minimum of bureaucracy with timely decisions and implementation.
- The appropriate delegation of authority with accountability, and fair and objective employer procurement and subcontracting procedures.
- The promotion of good environmental practice, sustainable development, and commitment to the welfare and development of each local community.
- Absolute confidentiality concerning our clients and projects.
SUBCONTRACTING MECHANISM
Wise Strategic Communication has a database of potential subcontractors in different regions; however we observe the following priorities to choose the proper
subcontractors for various task orders:
- Technical Capability
- Past performance
- Price
WSC will give more importance to technical capability and past experience than price. WSC will evaluate subcontractor’s technical capability by reviewing
their management plan, available resources and equipment, personnel experience and visiting their offices / workshops.
We will evaluate the prices based on the reasonableness of the submitted price, however WSC will have the right to accept other than the lowest price offers,
thus the selection of the subcontractors will be based on Best Value. back to top
SECURITY
Our excellent terms of employment, alongside the continued education of the purpose and intent of our programs to our staff, harbour valued loyalty. However to ensure we
can support the more sensitive campaigns we are able to offer staff with full security vetting and US and NATO clearances.
Key to our organizational security is our low profile, managed by a security manager with over 25 years experience, including time with the USMC and US
Department of Energy SWAT, he also has 4 years of private security experience in Afghanistan. All our international staff is required to conduct safety and security training
prior to arriving in country, they then join our local staff in our regular update programs. back to top
